SC Softball to face Mt Airy in "Pink in the Park" Exhibition

Due to roster issues that have limited them to seven eligible players, Mount Airy High School will forfeit tonight's scheduled Softball game at Surry Central to the Golden Eagles. However, the two teams will still face each other tonight in an exhibition game beginning at the regularly scheduled time of 5:00pm at Surry Central.

The "Pink-in-the-Park" event scheduled as part of tonight's game will still go on as planned. All Cancer survivors in attendance tonight will be admitted free of charge and are invited to take part in Survivor Recognition ceremonies before the start of tonight's game. The normal $5.00 admission regularly charged for Softball games will still be charged for tonight's event with all net proceeds going to help fund Cancer research.

For more information on tonight's game, contact Softball Coach Glenn Craddock at craddockg@surry.k12.nc.us, Athletic Director Myles Wilmoth at wilmothmy@surry.k12.nc.us, or call 336-386-8842.
