Despite a rough start to the beginning of the season, the Lady Eagles were on a five game winning streak coming into Tuesday's game against the West Stokes Wildcats. This game was a very tough loss for the Lady Eagles as they hit the ball well. The final score of the game was 3-2 as the Wildcats pulled out the win in the last inning. In the beginning the Eagles were ahead 1-0 on a double by Ivey Johnson. After West Stokes tied the game in the top of the the 5th, Tiffany York belted a solo homer to give the Eagles the lead 2-1. But unfortunately, the Wildcats hit a 2 run homer in the top of the 7th to go back up by 1. The Eagles got a leadoff triple in their half of the 7th from Brittany Myers, but couldn't capitalize.
The Lady Eagles are back in action today at South Stokes.
