On Monday the Lady Eagles played a big conference match against East Surry. The Lady Eagles played good soccer throughout the entire game. But the Cardinals kept the Lady Eagles from scoring until late in the second half. Emilee Stanley put one in the back of the net, and the Lady Eagles held on for a 1-0 victory.
Last night the Lady Eagles played host to North Surry. The game was ended at halftimedue to lightning in the area, and the final decesion was a win for the Eagles. The score was 3-0. Goals were scored by Haylee Harrison, Tess Dockery off her own rebound, and Victoria Olchowoj off a corner kick from Sarah Bruce.
The Lady Eagles will be going to Bishop McGuinness Thursday hoping to avenge a 2-0 at the hands of the Villains last Friday.
